the end of the wedding festivities - for most of us anyway - ha,ha

what a great day!! everything was so beautiful right down to the cake. but abbie was the most beautiful of all...

my new obsession...

these are just a few of my favorite flowers in my garden - i am addicted!! i have to stay out of the nurseries or i come out with more and more flowers and there is no more room in the garden. they are all just so pretty and i love all of the colors. it's so fun to go out every day and see if there are any more blossoms. (i'm just trying to get my garden to look as good as tracie's). too much fun !! :)

A and A ended their soccer season last sat. they had a good season and a lot of fun.

It's my birthday and I'll cry if I want to....

actually, even though i am oh so very old, it isn't really bothering me too much (i think 40 will be a different story). nothing too terribly exciting to report on this"special day"(don't even have a picture to post) - but i did get a very exciting b-day present from my loving husband. he surprised me with concert tickets for faith hill and tim mcgraw. i'm so excited. i have to wait clear 'til june to really enjoy my gift but i guess i just have more time to look forward to it. i was so surprised because it will be a huge sacrifice for chad to go to a country music concert. he keeps hinting around that maybe i should take someone else but i think i will drag him along - he dug his own grave on this one - ha,ha.
the kids were all so sweet to me, too. homemade cards and jewelry - what more could a mother ask for. mason kept asking me what kind of cake i was going to have, maybe a cake in the shape of a vacuum or a washing machine or something?!! he was shocked when i told him there would be no cake - or maybe disappointed is the better word - what, no cake for him to eat?!!
anyway, thanx to all who remembered and called (or posted)(or both)... happy birthday to me!!!

M's 4th birthday celebration at Grandma and Grandpa's

i am so happy that m was able to turn 4 - you see, i told him that he had to go to his sunbeam primary class by himself (because that's what big boys do and 4 year olds are "big boys") and he couldn't turn 4 and have a birthday if he didn't go to class. well, he went to class so he turned 4 and is officially a BIG boy now - good job m, we love you, you big 4 year old!!!
and, thanx to everyone at grandma and grandpa's who helped m celebrate and eat yummy cake . we wish everyone that wasn't there could have been there, too.
